The removal of inorganic scales can be easily done by the application of the Noxol cleaning products. Noxol®-100
Noxol-100 is exceptionally effective in the removal and dissolution of iron oxides, magnetite and hematite. The product will also simultaneously remove any calcium carbonate and magnesium hydroxide that may be present. Noxol-100 is very user friendly and benign to most substrates. It is a formulation that includes naturally occurring organic compounds. With minimal effect on materials of construction it is safe for use on equipment such as:
- Heating and cooling systems
- Carbon steel and stainless steel system
- Components
- Piping systems
- Heat exchangers
- Tanks
Noxol®-550
Noxol-550 is exceptionally effective in the removal and dissolution of calcium carbonate and magnesium hydroxide scale. Noxol-550 is a double-action scale remover, which interacts with the carbonate or hydroxide portion of the scale and also interacts with calcium and magnesium portion of the scale.
Noxol-550 is a mild acidic blend of organic compounds, which display the same descaling activity as mineral acids and sulfamic acid. Noxol-550 reduces attack on base metals, making it safer for equipment and construction materials such as:
- Sea water feed heaters
- Flash evaporators
- Basket-type evaporators
- Cooling towers/systems
- Falling film evaporators

Noxol®-678
Noxol-678 is a near-neutral pH product formulated to rapidly dissolve oxides, carbonates, phosphates and halides of iron, calcium and other metal ions from heat transfer systems without damaging the base materials. Application of Noxol-678 can quickly and effectively remove mixed iron oxides from corroded metal surfaces.
Noxol-678 will remove oxides even in the presence of oil and grease, but with heavier oil and grease deposits, it will be more effective if used with a pre-treat or in combination with, Kirasol-318SC

Noxol®-771
Noxol-771 is a product designed to dissolve barium, strontium, and radium sulfate scales, as well as some other types of inorganic scales including aluminium and magnesium compounds.
Noxol-771 can be used on a variety of metals, such as mild steel, high carbon steel, stainless steel, titanium, copper, copper-nickel, Monel, and Inconel. It can also be used on many synthetic and non-metallic materials.
